The Public Service Department (PSD) denied allegations that the Director General of Public Services Mohd Shafiq Abdullah had uttered abusive words against an Immigration officer at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) yesterday.

The PSD claimed Mohd Shafiq reprimanded Immigration Department officials, especially its operations chief James Lee, over alleged breaches in procedure.

They also stressed that the reprimand was not done in public and the director-general only advised the officers involved to follow the rule and help solve such issues with prudence.
