Delhi: Adhir Chowdhury questions why does Centre not use funds it lends to other nations for internal use

Days after his controversy for referring to President Droupadi Murmu as 'Rashtrapatni', Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on August 01 questioned why the Centre does not use the funds it lends to other nations for internal benefit.
“The prices are rising, people are facing issues, but they (Government) don't care. They boast of giving away money to other countries, help them. If you can pay those in another country, why not do it for our own people,” said Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury.
