Reacting on the arrest of the Sanjay Raut, Shiv Sena MLA Deepak Kesarkar said that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) would not have been arrested Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut without concrete proof and linking the arrest of Sanjay Raut with Eknath Shinde is totally wrong. In a conversation with India Today, Shiv Sena MLA Deepak Kesarkar said that the Enforcement Directorate gave enough time to Sanjay Raut in the money laundering case linked to alleged irregularities involving the re-development of a Mumbai 'chawl.'
