Former government accused of granting millions to Nationals seats

The former Morrison government is once again facing accusations of pork barrelling, this time in regional Australia in a scathing review of its handling of a billion dollar taxpayer fund. The Auditor-General's report on the 'building better regions fund' found ministers routinely ignored departmental advice on projects and favoured those in seats held by Nationals MPs.
