Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department organises Manasbal festival at Ganderbal

Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department organised Manasbal festival on July 26 at Manasbal Lake in Ganderbal district of Central Kashmir. It was organised in collaboration with J&K Academy of Art and Culture. It was inaugurated by Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Arun Kumar Mehta. The objective of the festival was to promote tourism at Manasbal Lake. During the festival, various water sports activities like Water Skiing, Kayaking, Water Zorbing, Jet Skiing, and Angling competitions were held. A large number of people participated in the festival. The local people were enthralled by different sports and cultural activities at Manasbal Lake. They lauded the step taken by the government as these types of festivals will boost tourism in the area.
