CCTV footage caught a leopard passing by a napping security guard in northern India's Rajasthan. The incident happened at a helipad near Pratap Gaurav Kendra in the Mewar region of the state on July 24. Visuals showed the feline walk past beside a security guard at the spot, who was resting at that time. The guard, who had dozed off while being seated at this table, was alerted suddenly when the leopard came nearby and looked at the big cat with amazement. The leopard in the meantime increased its pace and quickly snuck out of the area. The guard continued to give a startling look at the spot after what had happened moments earlier and proceeded to use his phone kept on the table, presumably to dial up someone and inform them about this. It was later learnt that the Mewar Helicopter services have reached out to the forest department so that they can trace the panther. They have also asked the people in nearby areas to stay alert and safe.
