“P*****k": Deputy speaker needs time to decide if Tajuddin will be punished

Deputy speaker Rashid Hasnon said he will determine tomorrow at the latest if it is necessary to penalise Tajuddin Abdul Rahman (BN-Pasir Salak) over certain remarks made in the Dewan Rakyat last week.
The deputy speaker confirmed he received Kasthuri Patto’s (Pakatan Harapan-Batu Kawan) letter demanding swift action to be taken against Tajuddin for his allegedly sexist behaviour.
Rashid said this in response to pleas by opposition lawmakers urging disciplinary action on Tajuddin for allegedly saying “p*****k” - a Malay swear word - in the Lower House last Wednesday (July 20).
