I don't think that filmmakers' fascination with underworld even I don't know underworld is a right word I feel the four basic elements which never cease to fascinate either filmmaker or the audience is fear, violence, sex, and humour because they are very instinctive needs for them to be put in a story which holds you emotionally is where a film's success lies in. Now as far as my interest in Satya, when I would consider Satya a different film.

When I was sitting in somebody's office 4-5 months prior to making Satya, there was a gentleman sitting there and after while he left someone in the office told me he belongs to a certain faction of the underworld. He looks very normal like any of us that gave me the idea we conveniently think of them some guys come out of the dark and do their job and went back to the dark.
