Airlander, a hybrid electric airship produced by British-based Hybrid Air Vehicles, is going into full-scale production this year. Spanish regional airline Air Nostrum has already reserved a fleet of 10 Airlanders, with their first commercial flights planned for 2026. The company will launch the aircraft with two traditional engines and two electric engines for its first commercial flights, then switch to a fully electric system by 2030.
