A magazine on the Amrit Mahotsava of Independence magazine named 'Antim jan' has sparked controversy as it is dedicated to Veer Savarkar includes 13 articles related to the freedom movement of Veer Savarkar while only 3 on Mahatma Gandhi. The dispute is that the Vice President of the committee has written in the magazine that Savarkar's place in history and his respect in the freedom movement is no less than that of Mahatma Gandhi.
