Thousands putting down the bottle or glass to raise money

This month, thousands of people are putting down their glass of wine and taking part in dry July to raise funds for those affected by cancer. But cutting back on booze can be tough with alcohol playing a huge role in our culture and in how we socialise. Earlier, I spoke with Shanna Whan, CEO and founder of "sober in the country" and Australia's local hero of the year. She is a recovering alcoholic and has used her own story and platform to challenge our culture of alcohol consumption with a focus on rural communities.
