Queenslanders advised to wear masks indoors as third COVID wave worsens

Queenslanders are being strongly urged to wear masks whenever they're indoors. That includes anyone on public transport and teachers and students at school next week. It's not an official mandate but one hasn't been ruled out as the third wave of COVID continues to worsen. The state recorded 22 deaths today just two short of its worst day in February.
