Amanah lodges police report against Najib

Amanah Youth today lodged a police report against former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak at the Dang Wangi district police headquarters.
Amanah Youth chief of strategy Ammar Atan said the report was made under Section 233 of the Communications Act and Sections 499 and 505 of the Penal Code.
“We made a police report against him (Najib) due to the statement he released a few days ago blatantly accusing other parties and turning his head from the problem he caused when his government was in power.
“The intention of his statement was clearly to cause confusion to the rakyat, to throw blame, and to cause unrest towards the current government,” he said.
