Sri Lankan President Rajapaksa Gotabaya has left the country and has reached Maldives. The government of Sri Lanka has confirmed his departure from the country. Gotabaya was safely evacuated from the country by an army plane. In the midst of the ongoing rebellion in Sri Lanka, the economic situation is getting worse. There is an acute shortage of oil and gas. The situation is such that special Air Force commandos and Sri Lanka Army personnel have been deployed to monitor the petrol pumps.
