This is security footage of ​two utility workers repairing a manhole. There is a small explosion and one of the workers falls into the hole. A bystander comes to help and manages to pull the other worker to safety with rope.

Traffic has just been shut down in all directions due to the manhole cover that exploded in downtown Boston. A couple of workers from Eversource, one of the power providers for Boston, were injured and their clothing was set on fire by the explosion.
