A fresh debate has erupted between Aam Aadmi Party and the Opposition in Punjab. This all started when Rajya Sabha Member Raghav Chadha was appointed as the Chairman of its Advisory Committee by the Punjab government on Monday.

The young political leader had earlier served as Financial Advisor to Delhi Finance Minister Manish Sisodia in the Aam Aadmi Party government.

Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has sparked off yet another population control debate with his statement on the occasion of World Population Day. The UP CM expressed his concern over the rapidly increasing population in India. Yogi blamed the population growth on the prevailing demographic imbalance.
