Emily Bindiger — Emily 1972 (USA, Psychedelic/Folk Rock)

Emily Bindiger is an American singer and actress from New York City, best known for her participation in the a cappella band The Accidentals. She took part in the recording of dozens of soundtracks and library records. In 1972 she left for France, where she released (with the support of local progressive rock musicians "Dynastie Crisis") her only album "Emily" - "a psychedelic folk masterpiece", as this amazing record is characterized today. At the time of the recording of the LP, Emily Bindiger was only 16 years old. The disc remained the only solo work in the singer's discography. In the future, Emily Bindiger returned to recording soundtracks - in the 90s she left for Japan, where she worked with Yoko Kanno and recorded several songs for animated series ("Cowboy Bebop", "Pandora Hearts" and others).
