PM unveils National Emblem cast on New parliament building

Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the National Emblem cast on the roof of the new parliament building on Monday. The 6.5m high National Emblem is made of bronze and weighs around 9,500 kg. The steel structure that would support the emblem weighs nearly 6,500 kg. The massive bronze emblem underwent eight stages from its conceptualization to the final installation. Watch this episode.
