Biosecurity laws toughen after disease detected in Bali

Farmers and met producers have welcomed tougher biosecurity measures following the discovery of foot and mouth disease in Bali. It's the closest the highly contagious disease has ever come to our shores and it has the potential to devastate Australia's livestock industry. President of the Farmer's federation Fiona Simson says everything possible needs to be done to ensure the disease doesn't reach Australia.
