The Archaeological Survey of India has once again rejected the claims of the world famous Taj Mahal of Agra being an ancient temple and the idols hidden in closed rooms in its cellars. In fact, Saket Gokhale, the national spokesperson of the ruling Trinamool Congress of West Bengal, had given an RTI application regarding this, to which ASI Agra has responded.

दुनिया भर में प्रसिद्ध आगरा के ताज महल के प्राचीन मंदिर होने और इसके तहखानों में बंद कमरों में मूर्तियां छुपी होने के दावों को भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण विभाग ने एक बार फिर से खारिज किया है. दरअसल पश्चिम बंगाल की सत्ताधारी तृणमूल कांग्रेस के राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता साकेत गोखले ने इसे लेकर एक RTI आवेदन दिया था, जिस पर ASI आगरा ने जवाब दिया है.
