Yoorrook Justice Commission asks for more time to produce final report

A commission set up to examine historical and ongoing injustices experienced by First Nations people in Victoria has asked for more time to prepare its final report. The Yoorrook Justice Commission was due to release its findings in mid-2024, but has asked for the deadline to be extended by two years after having the first year of its work interrupted by the pandemic.
