Deepender Yadav, a five year-old boy who fell into a 150 feet borewell on his father’s farm in Narayanpura Patharpur village in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhattarpur, was rescued after an eight hour long rescue operations. The extraction was made difficult due to weather conditions which had turned the fields muddy and slick. The rescue effort was co-ordinated by various teams of MP police, home guard personnel, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF).
