YouTube has removed the latest song released posthumously by slain Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala from its platform in India following a complaint from the Union government. The music video has touched upon several controversial issues like the Sutlej-Yamuna Link canal dispute between Punjab-Haryana, 1984 riots, Sikh prisoners, and anti-farm laws agitation. The move drew sharp criticism from Moose Wala’s fans who demanded the government withdraw the complaint. The song, SYL, is however available in other countries.
