The Fast And The Furious is a 1955 American B movie crime film written by Roger Corman.
Universal Pictures licensed the title for 2001's The Fast and the Furious and traded the use of stock footage to Corman for use of the title.
Corman seemed delighted.
Then the "Fast and Furious" franchise went on to gross over $6 Billion worldwide.
