After registering a landslide victory in Azamgarh, BJP's winning candidate Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirhua has credited his victory to the best policies of the party and the people of Azamgarh. In the election of 2019, Nirhua was defeated by Akhilesh Yadav on this seat, despite that the party once again showed faith in him and fielded him, in which he proved to be true.

आजमगढ़ में शानदार जीत दर्ज करने के बाद बीजेपी के विजयी उम्मीदवार दिनेश लाल यादव निरहुआ ने अपनी जीत का श्रेय पार्टी की श्रेष्ठ नीतियों और आज़मगढ़ की जनता को दिया है। 2019 के चुनावी मुकाबले में निरहुआ इसी सीट पर अखिलेश यादव से हार गए थे, उसके बावजूद पार्टी ने एक बार फिर से उनमें विश्वास दिखाते हुए उन्हें मैदान में उतारा था, जिसमें वे खरे साबित उतरे।
