A first-time paraglider captured this stunning footage of a historic Swiss village whilst gliding 1,600m over the Alps. Jordan Wade, 23, was on a three-month trip across Europe when he had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to paraglide over Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland. The footage shows Jordan taking off with an experienced pilot, gliding for about 15 minutes - at a height of over 1,650m - before landing in the village of Stechelber. Jordan, a semi-competitive gamer from Plano, Texas, USA, recorded his experience on his GoPro Hero 10 and uploaded it to his YouTube channel. He said: “It was one of the most surreal things I have ever done in my whole life. “I was so fortunate to be able to have my first paragliding experience in Lauterbrunnen of all places. “I will be doing it again! The whole valley is in the Alps and surrounded by 72 waterfalls. It was the most beautiful place I have ever seen!” Jordan filmed the video in May 2022.
