Assam floods: Several areas in Nagaon remain inundated, over 5 lakh people affected

Flood situation in Assam’s Nagaon district remained grim with inundation in many areas. With over 5.03 lakh people affected, many took shelter on embankments and highways. Nearly 1.42 lakh people of 155 villages under the Raha Assembly Constituency were affected.
