Price of essential goods rising due to number of factors

We don't really need to tell you that grocery prices are up- you've no doubt noticed it as you pass through the supermarket checkout. Pictures of high prices have been doing the rounds on the internet a ten dollar lettuce or tomatoes for 17 dollars a kilo. The high prices are a due to a number of factors like labor shortages, floods and the war in Ukraine.
