November 1, 1987 motorcycle road race at Oak Hill Raceway near Henderson, Texas. CMRA, once known as CRRC (Central Road Racing Club), has had more motorcycle roadracing champions (National and International) than any other road racing club in the world. CMRA was founded in 1974 and is registered as a 507c(7) non-profit organization. CMRA holds events and promotes the sport of motorcycle roadracing in South Central USA.
The Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association, CMRA for short, is an amateur level motorcycle racing league based in Texas that holds races and rider schools in the south central region of the United States. It is one of the most active motorcycle roadracing clubs in America.
The CMRA is a non-profit 501 c(7) organization with approximately 800 License Holders. It is managed by a seven-member Board of Directors.
Oak Hill Raceway wars a 1.8 mile, 13 turn paved sprint course for karts and motorcycles located near Henderson, Texas.
January 20, 2010 - Historic Oak Hill Raceway Removed From CMRA Schedule

Though owned by Mrs. Idaleen Gibson, the track is now under the control of a family trust. The track has been closed to racers since late 2009 and the trust did not respond to CMRA requests for a 2010 use agreement. The trust has not disclosed future plans for the track. Oak Hill Raceway was constructed in 1975 by brothers Jack and Pete Reed. The CRRC (now CMRA) first raced at Oak Hill in December 1975 and the track has been a mainstay in the club’s schedule since. Situated in rolling hills east of Henderson, Texas, the highly technical 1.8 mile, 13-turn track has been credited by many national and world champions that came through the CMRA as an important part of their development as racers. The CMRA would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Gibson and Track Manager Darryl Stach for their many years of support of the CMRA and motorcycle road racing. We also thank the citizens and businesses of Henderson, Texas for their hospitality since 1975.
