Uddhav Thackeray has vacated the Government residence. He moved to "Matoshree" from "Varsha", with his family. His supporters showered him with flowers and raised slogans as he arrived at "Matoshree".

Uddhav Thackeray claimed to resign from the post of Chief Minister of Maharashtra due to the ongoing crisis in Maharashtra politics.
