Maldives: Indian Embassy Executives Performing Yoga Attacked On Yoga Day

On June 21, a yoga event organised by the Indian High Commission in Male, Maldives was disrupted. As reported by Reuters, police had to use tear gas and pepper spray to control the crowd. The crowd stormed a stadium where more than 150 people were taking part in an event celebrating International Day of Yoga. The participants included diplomats and government officers. Maldives President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih tweeted saying that a police investigation into the incident had begun. Watch the video to know more.
