Home Ministry allocates RM900mil to modernise Immigration Dept system

The Home Ministry has allocated about RM900mil (2021-2022) to meet the needs of the Immigration Department and modernise the country's immigration system.
Its Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin said this when officiating the contract handover ceremony for the National Integrated Immigration System (NIISe) project, on Tuesday (June 21), adding that the move was to ensure the country's immigration system was more comprehensive, modern, integrated and customer-friendly.
