In a major tragedy on June 20, 11 people got trapped at Timber Trail Ropeway at Parwanoo, Himachal Pradesh.

This is the second time in the past 30 years, that the trolley has got stuck midway. In 1992, a similar accident had happened at the site and all 11 passengers except one -- who had jumped from the trolley, were saved in an aerial operation by IAF commando Major Crasto.

CM Jai Ram Thakur also reached the spot to supervise the rescue operation.

All persons were later safely rescued in a daring operation.
