作品介紹:

廣東話二部童聲合唱曲《小朋友放假》的歌詞內容嘗試用小學生的角度來描述他們所關心的一些事物，例如同學間的趣事、老師的角色、家人的關係、節日的樂趣及吃喝玩樂等。在一遍歡笑聲中也帶出了小朋友寄望快高長大和生活無憂的信息。歌詞混合了嚴肅及口語化的字句，也引用了一些常用的外語字。差不多所有的香港法定公眾假期及節日名稱都出現在歌詞中，以求為唱者及聽者帶來歡慶節日的聯想。現在這個錄音是二重唱錄音室版本，由龍文慧及龍文菁演唱。

"Children on Holidays" (©2003) is a Cantonese chorus piece written for 2-part treble choir and piano (this video features a studio duet version sung by Mavis Lung and Carla Lung). The lyrics consist of both colloquial and formal Cantonese expressions and some commonly used foreign words. With the children's perspectives, the lyrics talk about things that interest them, for example, funny stories among classmates, school teachers' role, relationship with the family members, happiness in eating, drinking, entertainment, etc. In order to arouse the singers' and listeners' association of happy time on holidays, almost all names of Hong Kong public holidays and festivals appear in the lyrics.
