132 companies of PAC have been deployed in UP to steer clear of riots. Surveillance is being done using CCTV cameras and drones in sensitive areas. 

After the Friday prayer on 3rd and 10th June, violence took place in multiple cities in UP. These steps have been taken to avoid them from happening again.
