'Looks like Simba and Pumba had an ugly falling out for this to be happening to the latter's kiddo.

Shared by Nili Gudhla, this gripping footage shows two lionesses brutalizing a piglet, making it scream in terror, when a lion springs into action and snatches the prey away.

"We came across two lionesses that were stalking a warthog family," Nili shared. "And within minutes, both the lionesses started chasing the warthogs. In this commotion, the piglets got separated from the mother and one of them got caught.

"But instead of killing the piglet, the lionesses kept holding it down. With all this noise of the piglet squealing, a young male lion rushed to the scene and snatched the piglet from them."

The filmer added that what happened at the end is typical lion behavior:

"The females are usually responsible for hunting and once the hunt is successful, male lions, if nearby, come to the kill and get to eat first."
