Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was questioned for a full three hours in the National Herald case. The ED started questioning him at 11.30 am.. This interrogation lasted for three hours and at around 2.45, Rahul Gandhi came out of the ED office. According to media reports, more than fifty questions were asked to him during this period. But during the time the ED's interrogation was going on, there was a demonstration of Congress leaders and loud sloganeering around the ED office.

नेशनल हेराल्ड मामले में काग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी से पूरे तीन घंटे लंबी पूछताछ की गई। ED ने सुबह 11.30 बजे उनसे पूछताछ शुरू की थी.. ये पूछताछ तीन घंटे तक चली और करीब 2.45 पर राहुल गांधी ED ऑफिस से बाहर निकले। मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक उनसे इस दौरान पचास से ज़्यादा सवाल पूछे गए। लेकिन जिस दौरान उनसे ED की पूछताछ जारी थी, उसी दौरान ED ऑफिस के आस-पास कांग्रेस नेताओं का प्रदर्शन और ज़ोरदार नारेबाज़ी जारी थी।
