Govt to pay France's Naval Group $830 million in compensation

Australian taxpayers will fork out 830 million dollars in compensation to French shipbuilder naval group after last year's decision to tear up the 90-billion dollar future submarine contract. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is hoping it will be an opportunity to reset the relationship between Australia and France.
