केंद्र सरकारने १४ खरीप पिकांच्या किमान आधारभूत किमती (हमीभाव) जाहीर केले. केंद्रीय माहिती व प्रसारण मंत्री अनुराग ठाकूर यांनी यासंदर्भातील निर्णयाची माहिती दिली. सरकारने अर्थसंकल्पात आश्वासन दिल्याप्रमाणे सर्वच पिकांच्या हमीभावात उत्पादनखर्चाच्या दीडपट वाढ केल्याचा दावा त्यांनी यावेळी केला. काही पिकांमध्ये तर दीडपटीहून अधिक भाव दिल्याचे त्यांनी सांगितले.
