‘Ms. Marvel’ is finally here! Meet Iman Vellani: the MCU’s newest hero.

Vellani has been a die-hard Marvel fan since her early teens, when she frequented her local comic book store and collected copies of Invincible Iron Man. It wasn’t until later that she discovered Kamala Khan — Ms. Marvel herself — and immediately felt connected to the character, reading her comic constantly and even cosplaying as her on Halloween. When she auditioned for the show, it was obvious that she was a perfect fit for the role.

The up-and-coming star joined Elite Daily for this month’s cover shoot, and we gave her a pop quiz on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She may be a new face in Hollywood, but considering how well she aced this test, she’s clearly no stranger to the Marvel films!
