An encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in the Rishipora area of Anantnag district on June 03, the police informed.

 In the initial exchange of fire, 3 Army personnel and 1 civilian were injured.

All the injured were immediately airlifted to 92 base hospitals in Srinagar for treatment, and are stated to be stable. Security forces are still on the job. More details shall follow.
