The CAPF has inducted 8 women personnel to handle and train dogs. This is the first time a women squad is appointed to train and deploy Patrol Explosive Detection Dogs. The dogs will also undergo 'Tactical Basic Obedience' training which will be held at the National Training Centre for Dogs near Panchkula.
