Arizona man cooks burgers, steaks and even a CAKE in his 200+ degree car

A TikToker has been using the Arizona heat to cook burgers, steaks and even a CAKE inside his 200-degree car. Joe Brown, a content creator from Phoenix, has amassed millions of views by using his car as an oven. The 20-year-old started baking sheet cakes and cookies on the roof of his home at the beginning of lockdown in March 2020. His family and friends found his videos fascinating and encouraged him to begin posting them on the social media app TikTok. The brutal Arizona summers shocked viewers from colder climates around the world and have gained him millions of views since he started in September 2020. In early April 2022, he decided to switch it up and see if he could bake items in his car. His car cooking videos have been extremely popular and he reached two million followers in mid-May 2022. The videos show Joe melting candles, cooking burgers and a steak, as well as baking a chocolate cake on the dashboard of his 2022 Honda Accord Sport. His videos also feature his famous gummy pizza fail which left his dashboard super sticky and received over 14 million views. Joe grew up in Arizona, so he was very aware of just how hot the summers can get. He said: “My car always gets SO HOT so I decided to check the temperature one day. “It was just over 200 degrees Fahrenheit in there! “I wondered how long a cake would take to bake so I tried it…and the rest is history!” Joe is positively overwhelmed by the support he has received, as his quarantine-born ideas now mean he can work full-time as a content creator. His content ranges from car cooking to pranking videos and viral challenges. He hopes his videos will encourage others to take risks and be creative with their online content.
