More Taiwanese seek gun training as Ukraine war drives home cross-strait tension

Some in Taiwan are taking air gun training for the first time in their lives as Russia's invasion of Ukraine ratchets up anxiety over the prospect of Beijing making a similar move on the island. Since the war in Ukraine started, bookings for shooting lessons have nearly quadrupled, according to a Taiwanese combat skills training company.
