Kyiv, March 24 (EFE/EPA).- (Camera: EFE/EPA Archive) On the morning of February 24, the world woke up to the news that Russia had launched a full-scale attack in Ukraine. As many Ukrainian citizens woke up to the sound of explosions, the country's president, Volodymyr Zelensky, declared martial law. Russia had started the war. A month later, the conflict has left at least 953 civilians dead, according to the United Nations, more than 3.5 million refugees and has led to a global crisis.
