'Nine times out of 10, a turtle swimming in the vicinity of a shark wouldn't make it out of there alive. However, this footage features a rare exception.

Filmed by Mike Bolton, this intriguing clip shows a humongous shark swimming right under a turtle, and actually minding its own business!

"This was captured during a great white shark expedition," Mike told us. "When a large sea turtle came beside our vessel, so did a Great White but it did not attack the turtle."

This must-see scene took place in Baja, Mexico on October 14, 2021.
