If it involves multiple accounts, then it is likely a scam. This was the warning from police today after a woman lost nearly 500 thousand ringgit in a love scam.

In a press conference today Johor police chief Kamarul Zaman Mamat reiterated that one of the indicators of scams is when you are told to bank money into different accounts.

He said that the woman in the case had sent a man money in 20 transactions to 15 different accounts.
