Bharatiya Kisan Union leader, Rakesh Tikait was the victim of an ink attack at a press meet in Bengaluru, Karnataka. A group of 12 people barged into the venue causing a ruckus. One person beat up the Union leader before throwing ink at him. Rakesh Tikait addressed the media regarding a sting operation in which a Karnataka farmer leader was allegedly caught asking for money. Rakesh Tikait accused the BJP government of lack of security at the venue and alleged the government’s involvement in the attack
