Amavasya Tithi has special significance in Hinduism. Amavasya falling on Monday is called Somvati Amavasya. This fast is considered as fruitful as Karva Chauth. On this day, married women fast for the long life and happy life of their husbands. This year Somvati Amavasya is on 30th May 2022. The special thing is that this is also the last Somvati Amavasya of the year.

हिंदू धर्म में अमावस्या तिथि का विशेष महत्व होता है। सोमवार के दिन पड़ने वाली अमावस्या को सोमवती अमावस्या कहा जाता है। यह व्रत करवाचौथ के समान फलदायी माना जाता है। इस दिन सुहागिनें पति की लंबी आयु व खुशहाल जीवन की कामना के लिए उपवास करती हैं। इस साल सोमवती अमावस्या 30 मई 2022 को है। खास बात यह है कि साल की आखिरी सोमवती अमावस्या भी यही है।
