Stranded Dolphins 'Doing Great' After Cape Cod Rescue

A group of 7 dolphins are reportedly 'doing great' after being re-released into the water off Cape Cod following a recent breaching incident.

The dolphins became stranded on the Massachusetts shoreline at low tide, requiring a team of dozens of people from the International Fund for Animal Welfare, AmeriCorps, and local volunteers to set them free.

'Our team faced the increased difficulty of rising waters, but we know from experience that it’s not an option to leave the dolphins in this area, because they often get caught in a repetitive cycle of tides and restrand,' said animal rescue officer Misty Niemeyer, via Storyful.
